It's easy! Head right to our home page for membership options.

  • What is the minimum age to become a member?

    14. While we do offer some classes that are all ages or aimed at younger students, because of the nature of the tools we offer those under the age of 14 are not permitted in shop areas.

  • Why are you not open 7 days a week?

Delmarva Makerspace is 100% volunteer run. As such, open hours are hosted by members when they are available. As membership grows, so too will open hours.

  • Can you make me a “insert widget name here”?

Generally, no. We encourage you to join and learn to make your own creations.

  • What tools do you have available?

So many!: 3D printers, vinyl cutters, laser engravers and cutters, CNC machine, full woodshop, hand tools, and so much more. Plus the space to work and bring your creations to life.

  • Do you supply materials?

No. Members are required to bring their own materials for their projects. Wood, acrylic, 3D printing filament, or any other consumable must be brought by the member. There is often scrap material available to members, but this is never a guarantee.

  • Do I need to clean up my workspace?

Yes. All members are expected to clean up after themselves. Sweeping up sawdust, brushing off work spaces, putting tools away, throwing away trash, etc. are required duties of all members.
